Professional Licensure Disclosures
In accordance with federal requirements and as a State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement participating institution, the University of Saint Mary provides public and direct Professional Licensure Disclosure Statements to degree-seeking students applying for and enrolling in programs that lead to professional licensure or certification. University of Saint Mary academic programs that may reasonably be assumed to lead to professional licensure and/or certification are designed first with the licensure and/or certification requirements of the State of Kansas in mind and may or may not conform to the requirements of other states.
If a licensure program does not meet educational requirements in a student's home state, the student will receive a direct disclosure informing the student of this fact. Distance education students (those enrolling in one or more distance education courses during their first semester of enrollment in a licensure program) will not be allowed to enroll in a licensure program that does not meet the educational requirements in the student's home state unless the student signs the Written Attestation stating the student intends to be employed in a "meets" state after graduation.
