AC 354 Intermediate Accounting I
This course, Intermediate Accounting I, is the first half of the study of Intermediate Accounting theory and practice. The course includes a study of the environment and theoretical structure of accounting and accounting processes. A review of the Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Comprehensive Income, and Statement of Cash Flows, with emphasis on the Asset components of the Balance Sheet, are studied, along with the disclosure requirements for each of these statements. In addition, Time Value of Money Concepts are studied and practiced as they relate to the current valuation of certain assets, liabilities, and revenues impacting future accounting periods.
