COM 125 Interpersonal Communication
This course focuses on the understanding of theories of interpersonal development and their application for building and maintaining positive relationships in both the workplace and a student's personal life. Students will understand the role of culture, perception of self and other, listening in shaping relationships. By tracking their communication skills throughout the semester, they will apply this knowledge to crafting positive verbal and nonverbal messages, responding to ethical communication dilemmas and managing conflict.
