As the world has become increasingly interrelated, the tensions among nation-states, markets, and societal actors have increased. This course is designed to provide students a theoretical and critical understanding of the causes of these tensions using the dominant perspectives of economic liberalism, mercantilism, and structuralism. The purpose of this course is to provide students with a more comprehensive understanding of the international environment, interconnectedness, diversity, and interdependence, which may result in more effective solutions to global challenges.
