MA 402 Analysis and Advanced Calculus
This course is designed for students who are interested in the theory of calculus. It is a foundation course for students planning to study advanced calculus, complex variables, differential equations, Fourier analysis, or numerical analysis. A limited number of concepts involving the real line and functions are studied, the least upper bound property is taken as an axiom, and the other properties of the number line are exploited throughout, including, a thorough treatment of the sequence of numbers.
