NS 107 How Things Work: An Introduction to Physical Science
An introductory science lab course designed for non-science majors. This course is a practical introduction to physical science in everyday life. This course considers objects from our daily environment, identifying and exploring the scientific concepts upon which they’re based. Because it starts with objects and looks within them for science, it is the reverse of a traditional science class. Lecture two hours per week and laboratory one day per week for two hours.
