SW 310 International Social Work
Students will gain an understanding of international social work and social welfare on a global scale. This course synthesizes theories of international social work practice, from both the micro and macro social work perspectives, to create a unique learning opportunity about a specific international location. Students will gain an awareness of life at the host location through the study of globalization, social justice and human rights, poverty, political history and oppression, government policies, migration, economics and austerity, and literature.
