AT 611 Fundamentals of Sport Performance

In this course, students will learn how to perform various assessments and collect individual biometrics to design a training program that will guide an athlete to peak performance and determine the readiness of an athlete to engage in exercise. The course covers the basics of health and fitness assessment, performance training, flexibility, speed, agility, endurance, functional athletic movement patterns and the critical role that nutrition has on sport performance.
