AR 196 Art Appreciation
Art Appreciation is taught from a multicultural perspective and is an introduction to art history and the elements and principles of design. This course is intended to build a context for understanding the arts formally, socially, culturally and historically with the intention of making art meaningful to the student's everyday life. Students will explore and analyze influential works of art as a way to gain understanding of the arts as a method of communication and expression.
