Declaration of Major

Undergraduate students can declare an academic major at any time by completing the Declare or Change Advisor or Major/Minor form and submitting it to the Registrar’s Office. Undergraduate students must declare an academic major prior to earning 60 credits. Students make application for formal admission into the declared academic major at the times specified in the relevant academic program sections of this catalog and should work closely with their academic advisor to ensure all entrance requirements are met.

Please note that a change of major after the beginning of junior year may require extra time to complete the bachelor’s degree.
