Minors
A minor represents an optional, secondary field of study for degree-seeking students. A minor is a structured plan of study requiring a minimum of 15 credit hours and no more than 22 credit hours. A minor should require significant additional coursework beyond what is already required for a related major with a minimum of 9 credit hours that are unique between a major and a minor. A minimum of 3 credit hours in the minor must be earned at the University of Saint Mary. A minimum cumulative GPA of 2.00 must be earned in the minor. The minor appears on the official transcript. Students declare a minor by completing the Declare or Change Advisor or Major/Minor form available on eSpire.
