Academic Catalog 2024-2025

Pre-Dentistry

Most dental schools require students to have completed a bachelor’s degree prior to admission although some schools will consider students who have completed two years of undergraduate coursework.

The majority of dental schools require one year of English, two years of chemistry (General Chemistry I and II, Organic Chemistry I and II), one year of physics (Physics I and II), two semesters of biology (Principles of Biology I and II, Cell Biology), Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II, and mathematical competence to support understanding of science course content.

Students must take the Dental Admission Test (DAT) as part of the application process.
