Pre-Physical Therapy

The University of Saint Mary offers a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree program. Admission to a graduate program offering a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree requires that the student has earned a bachelor’s degree. Generally, programs require the following courses: one year of biology (Principles of Biology I, Principles of Biology II, Genetics, Cell Biology), Human Anatomy and Physiology I and II, one year of chemistry (General Chemistry I and II), one year of physics (Physics I and II), mathematics to support understanding of science course content, speech, and courses in the social/behavioral sciences.
